I am an artist, a foodie, a traveler, a comedian, a lover, a friend, a sister, a daughter, and an inspired person. I grew up surrounded by love, humor, and happiness in a small town in Illinois; where I spent most of my childhood growing, exploring, and dreaming of what life had to offer. I covered my bedroom walls with pages and pages of fashion magazines and photographs; images that flooded my mind and shaped my understanding of beauty, sex, and body image. I grew into someone who truly appreciated the art of photography and imagination. My dreams led to me to Chicago where I attended Columbia College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Photography. I thrived in an environment of artists and quickly fell in love with the hustle and bustle of the big city. New York City is where I discovered my passion for portraits and storytelling through photography. This city and its’ people continue to inspire me to tell their stories and to create new work that captures the interest of a greater audience.
